The directories found here contain a number of files related to Version 2.4
of the Workforce Information Database:

Directory contents:

VFP           Archive file WID2.4.ZIP contains an empty Visual FoxPro database
              including primary keys, foreign keys and referential integrity.
              README.TXT contains notes about the database creation and content.

FOX26         NOTE: Due to the introduction of longer variable names in Version 2.4
              of the database, the NCSC will no longer routinely produce a set of
              FoxPro 2.6 files. 

ACCESS        Archive file ALM24AC.ZIP contains an empty Access 2000 database
              including primary keys and file relationships.  README.TXT
              contains notes about the database creation and content.

NOTE: MS Access, delimited text and a Visual FoxPro database with lookup and crosswalk
tables populated with standard content will be made available as they are developed.

NOTE: The directory also contains new content for some tables:

SOC2010.ZIP      FoxPro and Accesstables containing codes, titles and descriptions from the 
                 2010 Standard Occupational Classification.  Other fields are not
                 populated.  Includes table OES2010 that contains 2010 OES occupations that
                 are not part of the 2010 SOC.
  
NOTE: The IPEDS tables formerly found in this directory can now be found in the
\wfinfodb\education directory.


SOCCODE09.ZIP    FoxPro and delimited text versions of the SOCCODE lookup files with updated 
                 content for the OOHTRNTM variable based on information from the national
                 employment projections for 2008-18.

IPEDS08US.ZIP    Visual FoxPro database containing 2008 IPEDS file content formatted
                 for the SCHOOLS, PROGRAMS, PROGCOMP and SUPPLY tables of the 
                 Workforce Information Database.

IPEDS08AC.ZIP    MS Access version of files found in IPEDS08US.ZIP

CIP2010.ZIP      Foxpro and MS Access versions of the CIPCODE lookup table for the 2010
                 CIP revision.

NAICS07.ZIP      FoxPro table containing DRAFT NAICCODE lookup table for versions 2.3-2.4 of
                 the Workforce Information Database.

MILX0408.ZIP     Department of Defense crosswalk file linking military occupations with 
                 civilian occupations from the SOC.  Includes both crosswalk and lookup
                 tables.

SOCCODE.ZIP      SOC lookup table with the contents of the SOCPARENT populated.  Values
                 for OOHTRNTM for 119 occupations were updated on 6/18/09.

IPEDS07US.ZIP    Content for PROGRAMS, PROGCOMP, SCHOOLS and SUPPLY tables taken
                 from 2007 Integrated Postsecondary Education Data (IPEDS) survey.
                 SCHOOLS table contains one record per institution and does not
                 includes satellite locations in other counties.  Programs and 
                 program completer counts reflect this organization.  The LATITUDE
                 and LONGITUDE variables are populated in the SCHOOLS table.
